Apollo Tyres announced that its logo appeared on the Indian men’s cricket team jersey for the first time on Oct. 2 ahead of the opening test match against West Indies. The debut follows the company’s announcement of a three-year strategic partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The Apollo Tyres logo appeared on the women’s team jerseys two days earlier during their match against Sri Lanka. The brand’s presence on both national squads highlights its growing commitment to Indian sports and national pride.
“Our logo appearing on the Indian cricket teams’ jersey is a moment of great honour for us,” said Neeraj Kanwar, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Apollo Tyres Ltd. “Cricket unites the nation like no other sport. We aim to go the distance with the teams and their supporters, embodying the spirit of determination, resilience, and excellence.”
Apollo Tyres said the collaboration reflects its strong support for cricket in India. The company’s emblem now appears on both the men’s and women’s team jerseys under the BCCI agreement.
