Sumitomo Dunlop staff representatives, as guests of the Road Accident Fund, supported the National Road Traffic Department, Mpumalanga Transport Department, the Gauteng Traffic Department, the SAPS and Road Traffic Management Corporation with roadside inspections conducted on Moloto Road, where Mpumalanga meets Gauteng.

With vehicle traffic of approximately 850 vehicles expected through this section of roadway on the 20th of December, the team were there to provide valuable skills and assistance. While Traffic Officers conducted licence inspections, the Sumitomo Dunlop representatives inspected tyres and offered advice to drivers, informing them of the condition of their tyres, and providing information regarding tyre safety.
