Petlas claims its special designs RM900 and RM910, combine mobility and damage resistance attributes. Self Supporting Run-Flat Insert System inside these patterns provide an unprecedented performance to protect the tire from breakage or shattering under ballistic missile attack or other road hazards. Those extraordinary military tyres have specially formulated rubber mixture which protects the tyre from any damage like a puncture or leak.

What’s more, the company says its specially designed military tyres support the vehicle to continue its journey no matter what in the air loss scenario is. In other words, they can continue functioning even if the air in the tyre is fully released in case of a puncture. These tyres can operate about 60 miles at a speed of 30 mph with zero air pressure if the tyre suffers from a puncture even on harsh fields.

Another advantage of this feature eliminates the necessity of carrying a spare tyre in the vehicle offering space in the boot area. The absence of spare tyre and tool kits also reduces the vehicle’s overall weight, thereby simultaneously increasing fuel efficiency.
