Early-bird discount until 30 June 2021

Next year’s THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022 will be the first opportunity for the global industry to gather at an international communication and business platform since the introduction of restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic. The content of THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022, with the addition of TTC @home, will focus on issues that have gained new impetus in the context of the worldwide disruption to life and business – such as the digital transformation and human resources. A further key topic will naturally be the ever-increasing demands for greater sustainability. The first signs and the initial registrations all point to the trade fair being another strong business event that will live up to its ambition to be a leading international industry platform. In close collaboration with the event’s conceptual sponsor, the Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V. (BRV/German Tire Retailers and Vulcanisation Trade Association), the team at Koelnmesse is devoting all its energies to ensuring a successful restart and further developing the concept and content for the trade fair, which occupies a prominent position in the industry’s international calendar as a source of fresh momentum for the tire and wheel sector. Potential exhibitors still have time until 30 June 2021 to secure key benefits by registering early: exhibitors applying now can already reserve their preferred stand area size and stand location in the trade fair halls.

“For THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022, we are working on the basis of conditions largely returning to normal in the post-coronavirus period. For companies making their plans, what this means in practice is that there are no stipulations concerning stand sizes. Koelnmesse will put in place a framework of measures, such as sufficiently wide aisles, a hygiene concept and an approach focused on three principles: vaccination, recovery and testing. We have had it confirmed in many conversations that the sector is looking forward to THE TIRE COLOGNE as its most important international business platform. Now is the perfect time to apply and speak to us about your plans,” says Ingo Riedeberger, Director of THE TIRE COLOGNE.

As part of the event’s revised concept, THE TIRE COLOGNE 2022 will be supplemented with the digital event TTC @home, offering registered physical exhibitors the opportunity to also increase their online reach and market to new target groups digitally, thereby boosting their sales. TTC @home sets out to strengthen communication between exhibitors, visitors and the media, and thus reinforce the momentum that the in-person event THE TIRE COLOGNE gives the industry.

With its plans for 2022, THE TIRE COLOGNE builds on a solid foundation, with exhibitors at the 2018 event rating the trade fair as the most important industry platform right from the start. In Cologne, the world’s 20 highest-ranking tire manufacturers exhibited at a single trade fair for the first time. And for 2022, the top companies once again have their sights firmly set on the international marketing opportunities that will be offered by THE TIRE COLOGNE.

THE TIRE COLOGNE provides a comprehensive overview of the market. In addition to segments covering tires and wheels, automotive services and workshop equipment, tire retreading and tire recycling, THE TIRE COLOGNE highlights key issues concerning the future development of the industry with the integration of forward-looking topics like digitalisation, recycling or fleet management.

THE TIRE COLOGNE is aimed at tire manufacturers, tire dealers, automotive service providers, workshop equipment suppliers and all other companies involved in the tire and car industry. The event is organised by Koelnmesse together with the Bundesverband Reifenhandel & Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V. (BRV/German Tire Retailers and Vulcanisation Trade Association) as the trade fair’s conceptual partner.

Koelnmesse – Global Competence in Digital Media, Entertainment and Mobility: Koelnmesse is an international leader in organising trade fairs in the Digital Media, Entertainment and Mobility segments. Trade fairs like DMEXCO, gamescom, gamescom asia, INTERMOT and THE TIRE COLOGNE are established as leading international trade fairs. Koelnmesse not only organises trade fairs in these areas in Cologne, but also in other growth markets like, for example, China, Singapore and Thailand, which have different areas of focus and content. These global activities offer customers of Koelnmesse tailor-made events in different markets, which guarantee sustainable and international business.
