Netherlands based OTR tire designer and manufacturer Magna Tyres recently returned to the ConExpo Show in Las Vegas for the third time after a five-year gap due to Covid restrictions.
The ConExpo Show is a highly important event for Magna Tyres as their ongoing development in the North American OTR tyre market continues to evolve at a fast-growing pace. Stephan Van Leeuwen, Magna’s OTR Tire Sales Director say’s, “ Our main priority at this year’s show was to continue building up the Magna brand name awareness in North America and further expand our growing distribution network throughout the United States.
“At the same time, we were looking to meet as many new American tyre dealers and end users operating a large fleet of heavy machinery vehicles as possible along with Original Equipment Manufacturers in the USA. Finally, it was a perfect opportunity to work alongside our West Coast distributors CMC Tires and showcase our tire together on the booth.”

On the constantly busy Magna Tyres booth a collection of patterns were being showcased including the Magna MA03 Mobile Crane Tire, MA02 Scraper Tire (in size 33.25R29) and the company’s ‘flagship tyre for Articulated Dump Truck – the Magna M-Terrain E4. Whilst making its debut in the US market was the MU30 (size 26.5R25) a tire specifically produced for fitment to wheel Loaders and underground loaders. Also creating a lot of attention from visitors was the Magna MA01+ which is a popular choice for wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks.
Stephan adds, “Without a doubt the 2023 ConExpo Show was a great success for Magna Tyres with an exceptional and continual amount of interest being shown in our product range. Plus, we have a significant number of potential sales leads to follow up after the event. It was also interesting to note that several Magna customers were also exhibiting at the show with Magna Tyres fitted to their machinery including Rokbak with articulated dump trucks, Venieri with a wheel loader, Sennebogen with material handlers and K-Tec with a scraper and articulated trucks. Which is a solid endorsement that the Magna brand continues to increase its status in this highly competitive market.”
