From Aug. 27 to 29, Trelleborg Tires said it will showcase its work in producing sustainable tyres with its TM1 Eco Power tire, developed with OE partner Fendt, in booth #1021 of the Farm Progress Show 2024. This tyre for both traditional and electric tractors is made from 65% recycled and bio-based materials, according to Trelleborg. This range of tyres was designed to deliver traction, with a light touch to protect soil, and stability for efficiency and cost savings with tyres made for modern machinery, Trelleborg said.
Trelleborg Tires said the TM1 Eco Power tire and other tyre solutions include ProgressiveTraction technology (PT) and Very High-Flexion (VF) construction.
At the Farm Progress Show 2024, Trelleborg’s showcase will include:
- The TM1 Eco Power tire 480/70R30, which delivers up to 47% lower rolling resistance, 26% better traction, and 3% savings in fuel and battery consumption, compared to other tyres, Trelleborg said;
- The VF1050/50R32 TM3000, specifically engineered for harvesters, combine machines, and spreaders. Its tread pattern, along with the casing design, maximizes the load capacity of the tire at low inflation pressure, according to the manufacturer;
- The VF800/60R32 HF1000, Trelleborg’s next implement tyre, is engineered for handling larger load capacities on large forage wagons and slurry tankers. With its VF casing and steel-belted structure, this tire features long durability and performance both in the field and on the road, Trelleborg said.
Completing the range are the VF900/65R46 TM1000PT, the VF380/105R50 TM150, and the 480/80R50 TM600PT.
