Austrian based Tyre Mobile Data specialists Anyline has announced a major development in its tyre sidewall scanner and tread reader technology through a recent partnership with North American based Sun Auto Tire that includes the installation of this groundbreaking equipment in 480 retail locations.

Anyline’s revolutionary AI tyre Scanners takes tyre inspection and inventory management technology for Sun Auto Tire to the next level of performance which incorporates swifter, more precise and digitally streamlined tyre assessments.

The Tyre Sidewall Scanner captures essential tyre information including DT/TIN, tyre size plus a tyre’s brand and size with just a single photograph. Whilst utilising Smartphone cameras it can convert analogue tyre details into digital data five times faster than manual input effectively reducing the risk of human error.

The Tyre Tread Scanner includes computer vision and AI technology (which is compatible with any mobile device equipped with a camera) and deliver reliable tread readings to measure tread depth accurately along with digital evidence for a clear record of operational and customer services.

This latest innovative partnership illustrates the growing trend towards digitalisation in the automotive service industry whereby AI and mobile data are assisting businesses to update their operations, reduce errors and improve customer satisfaction.
