Pirelli has been reconfirmed as the leader in the Auto Components and Automobiles sectors of the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe indices.
High Performance in Sustainability Assessment
Pirelli, the only tire company included in both the World and Europe indices, achieved a score of 84 points in the 2024 S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment. This score is the highest in both the Auto Components and Automobiles sectors, surpassing the sector averages of 29 points and 35 points, respectively.
Top Scores in Key Sustainability Areas
Pirelli received top scores in several areas, including business ethics, human rights attention, health and safety programs, and policies in the workplace, ESG management, and supply chain classification. It also excelled in efforts towards achieving Net Zero by 2040, a goal validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), through activities related to low-carbon products and the management of climate change, the environment, and biodiversity.
