Artificial intelligence (AI) is progressively transforming industries on a global basis including the tyre sector with leading manufacturers and suppliers currently already working with AI to further improve tyre design, optimise production processes, enhance logistics, and improve customer service.

Prominent tyre brands Bridgestone, Apollo Tyres, Pirelli, Hankook and  Nexen, are integrating AI-driven technologies into their operations to create smarter, more efficient, and sustainable tyres. As AI technology continues to gather momentum the tyre industry will continue to push its boundaries and further improve all aspects of manufacturing efficiency through to real-time road safety monitoring.

There is no doubt that AI technology has already become a major futuristc asset within the tyre industry and will continue to transform how tyres are designed, tested, and delivered to consumers. From automated quality control and virtual simulations to real-time market forecasting, AI is helping manufacturers streamline operations and improve tyre performance. At the moment the tyre industry has only ‘scratched the surface’ of AI’s capabilities, and its potential appears limitless.
