Autopromotec has confirmed that its 30th edition held last week in Bologna, Italy broke all previous records including international growth and the achievement of ISO 20121 Certification for Sustainability. The event also further enhanced Autopromotec’s role as a global reference hub for innovation and training.
97,348 attendees were registered as visitors with a 17 per cent share of international professional operators from 130 countries including 131 companies from Italy. There was also the show’s highest recorded average daily attendance at a European level with 24,337 attendees each day over the four-day event.
It is also interesting to note that many exhibitors at the show have already requested to reconfirm and expand their stand spaces for the 2027 edition. A strong indication of Autopromotec’s effectiveness as a business and networking platform. A total of 1692 companies exhibited at the show representing 61 brands.
One of the most significant developments at the event was Promotec’s ISO 20121 certification which confirmed the organisations firm commitment to an environmentally and economically responsible trade fair model. Incorporating waste manage to energy efficiency and the ethical selection of suppliers to social inclusion through to active dialogue with stakeholders and local communities.
Renzo Servadei, Autopromotec’s CEO concludes, “The record figures for this year’s show ‘speak for themselves’ and confirm Autopromotec as a leading show in the European and international automotive trade sector. Whilst the ISO 20121 certification represents an important step forward towards a new and more conscious approach to presenting trade fairs in the future.”
