Yokohama Tire has announced the launch of its new 116R Regional All-Position Steer tyre which has been produced at the company’s manufacturing plant in Mississippi, USA and is now available in three initial size options – 11R22.5, 295/75R22.5 and 11R24.5 incorporating a seven-year unlimited retread casing warranty.
Tom Clauer, Senior Manager of Commercial product planning says, “The tyre has been specifically engineered to provide long tread life and durability to regional fleet operations along with superior fuel efficiency for outstanding regional delivery activity.”
The Yokohama 116R tyre presents a series of innovative benefits including a durable construction due to solid shoulder ribs, multi-siped rib edges to effectively combat river-wear and deep siping for long-lasting traction, high centre ribs and an advanced compound for improved rolling resistance.
