Apollo Tyres has achieved a Gold Rating from EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 5% of businesses worldwide for sustainability practices. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Apollo Tyres EcoVadis Gold rating reflects substantial improvements in all these areas, the company said.
Apollo’s overall performance climbed to the 95th percentile in fiscal year 2025. That’s a jump from the 92nd percentile the year prior. Over the past five years, its score increased from 41 to 76.
Gains in Ethics and Labour Practices
Among the four EcoVadis categories, Apollo Tyres made significant strides in Ethics and Labour and Human Rights. Scores rose from 50 to 63 and from 70 to 80, respectively. The company’s top score came in the Environment category, where it earned 85 points. Sustainable Procurement received a solid 71 points.
