BKT has earned the “Excellence Level” award for the fourth straight year in Caterpillar’s global Supplier Excellence Recognition programme. Caterpillar recognised BKT for consistent performance. BKT said the Caterpillar award highlights the company’s ability to meet strict standards in quality and delivery.
BKT began its relationship with Caterpillar in 2015, supplying off-highway tiyes for equipment ranging from 40 to 190 tons in India. The company started its certification journey in 2017 with a Silver Level recognition. By raising its performance, BKT reached Excellence Level status and has maintained it for four consecutive years.
BKT distinguished itself not only through tyre quality but also by offering full-service support to Caterpillar, the company said. This includes proactive communication, technical on-site assistance, and feedback from operational projects. These efforts played a crucial role in Caterpillar’s evaluation process, it said.
BKT said the Caterpillar award consolidates its reputation as a reliable supplier for the construction and mining sectors, where quality, safety, and durability are critical.
