Continental has unveiled the Conti Coach HA 5. It is the first model in its newly developed Conti Coach Generation 5 line – tailored for the People segment in the EMEA region. This all-axle fitment tyre meets the demands of long-distance and intercity travel with a well-balanced combination of exceptional mileage, best-in-class rolling resistance*, and superior all-weather safety. Designed as both a base tyre and an intelligent tyre, the Conti Coach HA 5 enables fleets to reduce fuel consumption, lower CO₂ emissions, and maximise tyre service life. “The Conti Coach HA 5 is the most advanced coach tyre we have ever developed,” says Hinnerk Kaiser, Head of Product Development at Continental Truck Tires EMEA. “By combining state-of-the-art tread compounds with an optimised casing design, the new tyre is independent of weather conditions. It delivers outstanding 20 percent higher mileage, 10 percent lower rolling resistance, and reliable safety thanks to its high grip, compared to the predecessor tyre. This means that fleets can cover more miles over the entire life of the tiye, consume less fuel, and produce fewer CO₂ emissions.”

New standards in efficiency, durability and comfort

Energy savings and emissions reduction are at the core of the Conti Coach HA 5. An optimised casing construction and specially developed tread formulation minimise heat build-up, resulting in best-in-class rolling resistance*. This efficiency is reflected in the tire’ EU label rating of B for rolling resistance and B for wet grip, confirming its strong balance of reduced energy use and reliable safety performance. “By combining cutting-edge tread compounds with an optimised casing design, we have created a tyre that delivers outstanding mileage, best-in-class rolling resistance*, and exceptional safety – no matter the weather conditions. This means fleets can travel further, consume less fuel, and produce fewer CO₂ emissions over the tyre’s lifetime,” explains Hinnerk Kaiser, Head of Product Development, Continental Truck Tires EMEA.
