Point S has launched a truck tyre range, Point S Tyres Truck, at the Solutrans trade show in Lyon, France. Point S is active in the truck tyre market across Europe and North America, with more than half of its European points of sale offering truck tyre services.\
The Point S Tyres Truck lineup is regroovable and retreadable. It is positioned to deliver long-lasting value for retailers serving fleet and regional haul needs, Point S said.
Mixed Service and Regional Haul options
The range includes the Point S Mixed Service tyre. Point S said it developed the tire for demanding conditions with an emphasis on durability and protection against stone penetration.
Point S said the Regional Haul tyre delivers a wide application range, enhanced robustness, and full 3PMSF certification across all sizes.
The initial rollout covers eight key references, including 385/65R22.5, 315/70R22.5 and 315/80R22.5. All tires carry the 3PMSF certification and deliver winter performance for year-round use.
Production will take place in Poland and Turkey by a TBR manufacturer. Point S said its consolidated logistics system will allow members to combine tires from both production sites within a single truckload order.
