Apollo Tyres and the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) announced a partnership to introduce a specialised elective on tyre technology for engineering students. “This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the Indian automotive sector. We aim to equip young engineers with future-ready skills and real-world exposure,” said R Mahalakshmi, chief human resources officer of Apollo Tyres. “Students will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tyre design, manufacturing and testing.”

The partnership aims to provide access and exposure to tyre technologies and practical learning opportunities for students, Apollo said.
