Apollo Tyres announced two sustainability milestones. The first is an improved EcoVadis Gold Rating and validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its near-term and net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions targets.
Apollo Tyres said the 2026 EcoVadis assessment reflects improvements in its sustainability performance and responsible business conduct. The company’s overall performance placed it in the 98th percentile in fiscal 2026. Its EcoVadis score rose to 84 in 2026 from 76 in 2025, keeping it in the Gold category.

Apollo Tyres received an SBTi validation statement confirming that its GHG emissions reduction targets align with climate science.
Validated Targets
Net-zero: Apollo Tyres Ltd commits to achieve net-zero GHG emissions across the value chain by fiscal 2050.
Near-term: Apollo Tyres commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 58.8% by fiscal 2035 from a fiscal 2025 base year. The company also commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services. That includes upstream transportation and distribution, upstream leased assets, and downstream transportation and distribution 37.5% within the same timeframe.
Long-term: Apollo Tyres commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 90.0% by fiscal 2050. The company also commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, waste generated in operations, business travel, employee commuting, upstream leased assets, downstream transportation and distribution, and end-of-life treatment of sold products 90.0% within the same timeframe.
